RULES OF THE CAPTAIN’S KNOCK OUT TROPHY
1. The competition is open to all fully subscribed members of TBAGS.
2. The draw for the competition will be made by the Competition Secretary with at least one other TBAGS member present. Player drawn 1st will have home advantage for the 1st round. For subsequent
rounds a toss will determine who has home advantage. The final should be played at a mutually agreed venue.
3. Dates by which each round is to be completed will be published on the website.
4. It is the responsibility of both players to arrange the match. Failure to complete the match by deadline +1 calender month will result in both players being disqualified (unless a player
concedes).
5. The Competition Secretary has discretion to extend deadlines where there are extenuating circumstances.
5. Each match will be played over 18 holes, match play rules.
6. Handicap allowances (strokes) will be taken from the latest handicaps (full). The lower handicap player to play off scratch, and the higher player to
play off the difference between the two handicaps.
7. Players must decide at the outset of play how the match will be decided if the match is tied after 18 holes. Players can agree to replay, subject to meeting the deadline for completion of that
round.
8. The Competition will not be played on formal society days. Playing any other match play event (e.g. the Pairs Comp) simultaneously is not permitted.
9. The winner of the TBAGS Captain’s KO Comp will receive the Trophy at the AGM.
10. The usual rules of golf apply.
